Habitat for Humanity -- Ground Breaking Ceremony for the first of four homes to be built---Saturday, May 10, 10 AM at 61-73 E. 137th Street.  WBBM-TV will be filming this event and the progress to completion!

Citizens Awareness Policing Academy (CAPA) -- New class beginning! - This program provides a look into the operations of the Riverdale Police Department.  Information is available at Riverdale Police Department, Village Hall, or contact Officer Powers (tpowers@riverdalepolice.org) or Officer Jimmy Beatty (jbeatty@riverdalepolice.org) .  Phone:  841-2203, press option #2. 

NEW GARBAGE PICK UP DAYS:  Beginning April 1.  Tri-State Disposal will pick up garbage according to the following schedule:

Mondays - All residences north of the Indiana Harbor Belt Tracks

Wednesdays - All residences between 144th Streets and Indiana Harbor Belt Tracks

Thursdays - All residences between 144th and 146th Streets

2008 Crime Free Housing Seminar Dates:

Voter Registration - Available at Village Hall.  Bring two forms of identification.  Voting is your right - register now !  (back to top)

Street Sweeping - Check the signs on your block regarding street sweeping schedule.  Street Sweeping schedule is found on the Public Works Web Page.  Warnings and tickets will be issued to offenders.  (back to top)
